Zulfiqar Class Frigate

Based on the hull of the Type 053H3 Jiangwei II Frigate, the F-22P is the first major surface combatant exported by China. The first customer is Pakistan with an order of 4 ships. This 2500 ton, helicopter-carrying frigate will be the Pakistan Navy's first truly multi-role surface combatant. With a Z-9EC anti-submarine helicopter, HQ-7 SAM, and C-802 anti-ship cruise missiles, these 4 frigates will essentially double the size and power of the small Pakistan Navy.
